Hi! First of all, thank you for your interest in a custom! I am so excited to work with you. To start, you will fill out a contact info section so I can contact you about your order. This requires a name, how you would like me to address you (preferred name, pronouns, etc.), and an email. You may also provide your phone number if you are comfortable. Please note that no communication about your custom will be conducted through social media DM.

Next, you will be asked what type of piece you are looking for. Here, you will specify hardware type, piece type and style (ex: a choker style swirly necklace), length if applicable, mobility concerns if applicable (ex: a request for an arthritis-friendly clasp), and overall budget (including shipping). This will be what I refer back to when designing your piece, so please be as detailed as possible! Please see the pricing minimums section for the various styles offered. Your style may be dictated by your budget, so please keep this in mind before placing your order.

After deciding your desired piece and budget, now it’s time for the fun part: helping me design your piece! I will need to know the inspiration behind your piece, as well as desired colors, materials, important motifs/symbols, and anything else that you think would help me with your design. Be detailed! Past customers have gone as far as creating and sharing Pinterest boards, collages, slideshows, and even essays to help me design their piece. No detail goes unappreciated!

Finally, you will submit your custom order form and wait for an email from Anna! You should receive an email within 3-5 days. This email will include a pricing breakdown, more information on how to pay your deposit, and a relative timetable for how long each step of the custom process will take. Wait times vary based on metal type, material availability, type & style of custom, and how much information you have provided Anna in the order form.

I pay myself a rate of $20/hour when designing pieces. Pricing minimums reflect the minimum time required to design a piece plus minimum cost of materials.

It depends on the style and material availability! For example, it will take 7-14 days for a rosary-style single strand necklace made with stainless steel to reach your doorstep. In contrast, swirly style pieces made with higher-quality metals and specially curated charms will take up to one month. Each custom order introductory email will include a timetable detailing the timeframe of each step of the custom process, including sourcing, design, approval by customer, construction, and shipment.
